Ghost Driver tuning covers two different decisions: changing how a car performs and changing how it looks or behaves socially. The public Roblox game-pass API confirms named passes for Stage 4 Tuning, RGB Lighting, Global Radio, Custom License Plates, Underglow Pass, and Mobile Customization. It also exposes X2 XP and X2 Cash entries that were not for sale at the August 21 check. That official list proves the products exist; it does not prove a current Robux price, exact stat increase, refund rule, or compatibility with every car.

Use this hub to decide which detailed page you need, then confirm the actual garage menu in your current server. PRE-ALPHA tuning values and unlocks are update-sensitive, and community guides disagree about exact costs, levels, percentages, and the strongest order.

The API also listed X2 XP and X2 Cash entries as not for sale. That state may represent an unreleased, retired, or temporarily disabled product; the public data does not say which. Do not buy a similarly named item from another experience or assume an off-sale entry will return.

Read the performance menu before spending

Open the current garage or customization interface and identify the performance categories Ghost Driver actually displays for your car. Recent walkthroughs report systems such as engine, induction, weight, tires or grip, brakes, launch controls, transmission, and staged unlocks, but exact names and availability differ across sources. Write down the current label, stage, level requirement, price, and displayed effect before purchasing.

Change one system at a time, then repeat the same route. If you install several parts together, you cannot tell which change helped steering, acceleration, launch, or top speed. A single-change test is slower for one minute and much faster than reversing an expensive build later.

For every result, record whether the car was stock beforehand and whether an account-wide pass was active. Stage 4 is a paid entitlement according to the official description, so a Stage 4 video cannot be compared directly with an ordinary early-game build.

Choose upgrades from the failure you see

If the car cannot reach a useful speed before traffic opens, investigate acceleration-related options. If it reaches speed but resists lane changes, test handling, weight, or grip-related systems shown by the current menu. If it rotates too sharply and loses the exit, adding more power may worsen the problem; practice steering or adjust the car’s controllable setup first.

For Highway Race, launch and acceleration can matter, but the current rules and route must be checked in game. For traffic cutting, predictable placement and recovery may preserve a longer chain than peak power. The Upgrade Order guide turns these different goals into separate purchase plans.

Keep cosmetic and performance budgets separate

RGB lighting, plates, and underglow can make a car easier to recognize and more personal, but the official pass descriptions do not claim a performance advantage. Decide a cosmetic budget before opening the store. Do not spend progression currency or Robux expecting a visual feature to increase Cash, XP, grip, or speed unless the current official description explicitly says so.

Global Radio is a social audio feature, not a tuning part. Its public description says other players across the map can tune into music from your car. Check Roblox audio and moderation behavior before relying on a particular track. Keep volume considerate and remember that availability can vary by platform and asset permissions.

Mobile Customization changes access to the customization menu from the screen. It does not establish that all performance or appearance options are mobile-exclusive. Check what the free interface already provides before buying convenience access.

A clean test loop

  1. Pick one car and one server build.
  2. Choose a repeatable route with a clear start and finish.
  3. Record the stock or current baseline, including collisions and recovery time.
  4. Purchase or equip one upgrade only.
  5. Repeat several runs at the same driver effort.
  6. Compare median results and control mistakes, not only the single fastest attempt.
  7. Keep or revert the change based on the goal you selected before the test.

This loop works even when the game does not show precise numbers. You can record whether a car reaches a marker sooner, needs fewer corrections, or survives a lane change more consistently. Do not convert a visual impression into a fake percentage.

PRE-ALPHA purchase cautions

Roblox gamepasses are generally account entitlements for the experience, but the exact Ghost Driver permanence, stacking, and refund behavior should come from the purchase dialog and current Roblox rules. Read the displayed price and description at purchase time. The public listing used here intentionally does not freeze Robux prices because they can change.

Check the recipient experience and creator before buying. The official products are associated with Universe 10173311467. A similarly named pass from another game does not unlock Ghost Driver content.

If a pass is off sale, do not infer that an existing owner lost access or that it will return. Those are different questions. Record only the current sale flag and what the official description says the entitlement does.

Tuning mistakes to avoid

  • Buying raw power because a fan build calls it “best” while your runs end from steering or visibility errors.
  • Mixing stock, Stage 1–3, and Stage 4 results in one speed comparison.
  • Treating community-reported level thresholds or prices as permanent.
  • Assuming a cosmetic pass changes performance.
  • Editing multiple systems at once and then guessing which part caused the result.
  • Copying transmission values without knowing the tested car, route, and update.

Tuning FAQ

Is Stage 4 Tuning official?

Yes. The Roblox game-pass API lists Stage 4 Tuning and describes it as access to the highest tier of engine upgrades. The exact parts, values, and supported cars still need the current game.

What should I upgrade first?

Start with the system tied to your repeatable failure. Improve control or recovery when collisions end runs; improve acceleration when you cannot build speed; consider top-speed power only when you can place the car reliably.

Are X2 Cash and X2 XP available?

The API listed both names but marked them not for sale at the August 21, 2026 check. That does not explain whether they are future, retired, or temporarily disabled.

Do cosmetics make a car faster?

The official RGB Lighting, Custom License Plates, and Underglow descriptions describe appearance features, not speed or progression bonuses.
